While the goals and purpose of an Alumnae Panhellenic association are to promote women's fraternities and keep fraternity women informed of news and events in sorority life, it is also our goal to improve the Panhellenic image.

One of the ways that we do this is by actively contributing to the communities in which we live. Our philanthropic efforts touch the lives of women and children, of adults living with challenges, and those of students. We host creative fundraising events such as the Charity Denim designer jeans sale.

While each of our member groups supports its own official charitable cause, with TAAP we come together in three principal ways to impact our community. We fundraise and administer an annual scholarship award of approximately $1000. The Panhellenic community joined efforts in the 1950s to create a philanthropy program which has evolved into independent non-profit organization called Corbrook. We touch the lives of women and children in Toronto's women shelters with annual donations.

"The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live."
